Enjoy a burger, send the Wildcats to OFSAA

You can help support a local team get to the OFSAA championship, by going to Burger World on Algonquin tonight (Wednesday).

The Girls Senior Volleyball team at Widdifield are going to Dryden, Ontario and they need some help, financially, getting there.

Head Coach Mark Hopper says it will be quite the journey to get there.

He says they leave at 4:45am on Saturday on a bus to Sudbury; they take a plane from Sudbury to Thunder Bay. Once they land in Thunder Bay they need to take vehicles and drive the four hour distance to get to Dryden.

Hopper says they will arrive 12 hours later in Dryden around 5pm.

Burger World on Algonquin is helping out the team by donating 50% of their total dinner time sales tonight (Wednesday).

By having dinner from 6pm-8:30pm at Burger World on Algonquin you can help the girls get to OFSAA, by telling your server you’re there to support the team.
