North Bay Battalion Goaltender Jake Smith was dominant in the Troops latest victory, 3-1 over Belleville on Thursday.

He’ll get the night off as the Battalion head to Sudbury on Saturday night

Battalion Head Coach Stan Butler said after Thursday game he was giving the start to back up goaltender Jacob Kment. It will be Kment’s third OHL start – he has wins over Belleville and Kitchener so far this season in two starts.

Meantime, this is the eighth and final meeting of the year between the two northern Ontario rivals, with the Troops 6-1 so far.

However, the last game in Sudbury was a victory for the Wolves, 3-2, back in February.

Can the Troops come out with 2 points or will the wolves surprise them again with their second win against their northern rivals.

You can find out tonight and catch that game on Country-600 CKAT Broadcast time is 6:35.
