Voodoos advance with a second win over Mattawa

Voodoos_Newsletter_280 Powassan has advanced to the NOJHL East Division semifinals after a 6-1 win over Mattawa Monday night.

The Voodoos win the quarterfinal series two games to none.

Jake Staples scored twice with singles from Steve Harland, Kyle Moore, Jacob Erwin and Aaron Sullivan.

Powassan will now play Kirkland Lake in a best of seven series, starting on Saturday.
