Still snow depth is above average for this time of year from 38 per cent above the norm in Corbeil to 57 per cent in Chisholm. It’s 55 per cent above normal in North Bay. Water Content in the snow which is the key to possible spring flooding is 4 per cent below average in North Bay but 50 per cent above normal in Corbeil and 55 per cent above average in Chisholm.

Still the snow depth is below average compared to a year ago. 

The authority says an extended period of warmer temperatures and rain could result in rapid melting of the snow and increase the possibility of flooding.
