Toilet Paper

Ellen Faulkner says since 2014 the North Bay Food Bank has not had to buy toilet paper for their clients.

It’s thanks to the donations through the TP North Bay program.

Faulkner is the spokesperson and says they are hoping they can continue to provide this service to residents in need, because it wasn’t always this way.

She says “we used to get 48 rolls of toilet paper and give two per client, but if you were client number 25 you couldn’t get any. Now, every client gets two rolls.”

Faulkner says their goal would be to provide four rolls to every client.

She says every Saturday in May they will be accepting donations at various locations in the city; On May 14th at Canadian Tire, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 21 Walmart 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 28 FreshCo 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
