10 Thousand Dollars in funding to the North Bay-Mattawa Conservation Authority is going to benefit area shorelines.

The money is coming from the RBC Blue Water project.

The money will go to property owners in the form of planting assistance under the restore your shore program.

Authority CAO Brian Tayler says the money will help property owners improve fish habitat, reduce shoreline erosion and minimize nutrient runoff.

He says 10 shorelines will benefit through the planting of 2 Thousand trees and shrubs.
