More details of the SIU’s investigation into an incident Sunday afternoon in North Bay.

The Special Investigations Unit is saying a man left a residence in a vehicle after officers arrived in an area between Park Avenue and McKeown Avenue at 12:30 on Sunday afternoon.

A pursuit followed and then the vehicle the male was driving collided with another vehicle at Park and Mary Streets.

The SIU says the 29 year old male was arrested and taken to hospital where he is said to have non life threatening injuries.

The agency says they are conducting interviews with witnesses and analyzing forensic evidence.

The SIU has designated one subject officer and 3 witness officers to this incident.

As well, 3 investigators and 2 forensic investigators have been assigned to the investigation.
