Anthony Rota

MP Anthony Rota says there were several good ideas generated at a town hall last night on clean growth and climate change.

He says the list included questions about the Energy East Pipeline Project as it relates to North Bay‘s drinking water on Trout Lake.

He says the intent of the town hall was to come up with local ideas on climate change and clean growth and he came away very pleased with the ideas generated.

He says it’s important that the federal government comes up with policies that reflect what Canadians want and want to see.

He says the ideas generated will go to a consulting group and he will be using the ideas in discussions in Ottawa.
