In just 3 days this year’s version of Mattawa Voyageur Days gets under way.

Wrist Bands to see the 3 days of action packed entertainment are 50 dollars and co chair Jacques Begin says that’s quite the bargain.

He says there are 8 bands performing over 3 days starting on Friday.

The New Country Night includes performances by Doc Walker, Chad Brownlee and Runaway Angel.

Saturday on Rock Where the Rivers Meet there will be performances by Vince Neil, The Glorious Sons and Helix.

And on Sunday the entertainers include The Devin Cuddy Band and to close the weekend Alan Doyle and The Beautiful Gypsies.

Wrist bands available at Caisse Populaire and Scotia Bank branches in Mattawa and North Bay.

Other than the concerts which start Friday night and continue all weekend Begin says there is lots of other events to check out including Thai Boxing at the Mike Rodden Arena, helicopter rides, Christmas in July Dinner on Friday, Magic In The Park on Saturday, the Golden Age Dinner also on Saturday and the Hawaiian Beach Party on Sunday.

There’s also a breakfast at the Legion on Saturday and a Lions Club breakfast on Sunday.
