Restaurant fire in Sturgeon Falls this morning

Emergency crews were dispatched to fire at a pizza restaurant on Highway 17 in Sturgeon Falls this morning (Friday).

A listener was driving by the Marco Polo Pizzeria just before 7 o’clock this morning and says fire crews, ambulance and police were all on scene.

There’s plenty of dark smoke and flames coming from the building.

When contacted, West Nipissing Police said there shouldn’t be any impact on traffic.
