The North Bay Battalion are on a six-game winning streak after another come-from-behind win, 5-3 over Sudbury, on Thursday night.

The Wolves took a 3-0 lead into the first intermission before the Troops stormed back with five unanswered goals through the rest of the game.

Head Coach Stan Butler says his team didn’t get off to the start he was hoping for.

“I told the guys they had to be ready to start tonight, because these guys (Sudbury) were going to come out hard.  Obviously, we weren’t ready to start and we dug ourselves into a big hole and thank God we were able to find a way back,” he says.

Luke Burghardt, Andy Baker and Justin Brazeau got the Troops even with the Wolves before Adam Thilander (pictured) scored the game winner.

Adam McMaster picked up an empty net goal to seal the victory.

The two teams meet up again tomorrow night in Sudbury.
