Close to 400 people took part in a successful Hike For Hospice earlier this month.
The 23 teams registered to walk the trails in Laurier Woods raised 80-thousand dollars.
This was the third annual event with increases in both participants and funds raised for the Nipissing Serenity Hospice project.
“Great weather, many families with your children attending, surpassing last year’s pledges, I couldn’t have asked for a better day” said Hike for Hospice Coordinator, Dr. Sabrina Giustra.
Officials are already looking forward to next year’s event.
