Child development tool gets a new name

After 25 years there’s a new name for the Nipissing District Developmental Screen or NDDS.

It’s now called the Looksee Checklist.

The easy-to-use developmental tool designed to help monitor a child’s development from one month to six years of age features a short list of yes or no questions about a child’s abilities, along with tips to help them grow.

Families can learn more at their booth at Northgate tomorrow (Saturday) from 9:30 to 4 pm.
