‘Chicago – High School Edition’ is on stage at St. Joseph-Scollard Hall this week.

The high energy musical is this year’s Summer Challenge production.

Officials say it’s a re-imaged version of the Broadway classic of betrayal, fame and fortune.

Performances run tomorrow (Thursday) through Saturday, at 7 pm each night.

A full band accompanies the on stage performance, complete with vocals, choreography and acting.

Tickets are $10 at the door and are available in advance at the school’s main office or Creative Learning.

“The cast and crew have been working really hard to bring together a performance that is truly something special,” says Director Joshua Pride.  “We’ve got a really talented group who add depth and soul to this high-energy musical,” he adds.

Summer Challenge is an enrichment Arts course offered through the Nipissing-Parry Sound Catholic District School Board.

The program gives youth ages 12-18 the opportunity to develop acting, singing, dancing and production skills while earning high school credits.
