Assistant coach Adam Dennis says scoring depth has been key during this stretch.

“We have three lines that we can put out against any line and have success. We also have a 4th line that can shut down the other teams top line and that helps with matchups,” he says.

The overage trade deadline has come and gone and Battalion Captain Justin Brazeau (pictured) will close out his OHL career in North Bay.

“I’m happy where I am and I love it here. I can’t ask for anything more. I ‘m happy to be a North Bay Battalion for the rest of the year,” Brazeau says.

Brazeau is second in the league scoring race with 68 points and second in goals with 37.

The Battalion are expected to have their newest acquisition in the lineup tonight.

Zach Malik was acquired form Sudbury.

Dennis says he has a good all-round game.

“He’s got some offensive ability and he has a mean streak. He comes in highly touted as he was a high pick in the import draft,” he says.
