Medals for Vision Volleyball 15U girls and local youth bowlers

Vision Volleyball’s 15-under girls team won three medals at three straight weekend tournaments, in three different age categories.

The team earned bronze at 17-under and 16-under events then won silver this past weekend in Sudbury, at a 15-under girls select division tournament.

They’re currently ranked in the top 15 teams in Ontario in their age group.

Head coach Danny Gosselin is pleased with the effort being put forth by the girls and with their collective desire to get better each and every time they are on the court.

Fifteen youth bowlers took part in the Youth Challenge Provincial 5 Pin Bowling Championship in Sudbury on the weekend, with the opportunity to advance to the national championship next March.

Two teams had North Bay bowlers on them and won silver, in the ladies and mixed team divisions.

Felicity Eckensviller and Alexis Antler from Haileybury, Riley Rose from St.Charles, Kyrsten Tremblay, Ryane Lafleur and Coach Natasha Smith from North Bay took the Silver medal in the Ladies team division.

Abby Furlotte-Goddard and Allee Little from Haileybury, Connor Clark and Chase Stahls from Parry Sound, Thomas Williams and Coach Michael MacLean from North Bay, took the Silver medal in the Mixed team division.

Jake McKenny, Nicholas MacLean, Coach Tom Williams from North Bay, Zachary Eckensviller, Antonio Crick, Isaac Walker-Dupont from Haileybury took 5th place in the Mens team division.
