The North Bay Youth Volleyball Club Lakers U14 White team won silver at a weekend tournament in Orillia.

They went undefeated before a two set loss to a Sudbury team in the final.

The Powassan Voodoos wrapped up a three game road trip with a 3-2 loss in Cochrane on Saturday.

After a Thursday night win in Timmins, the Voodoos scored a 5-4 overtime win Friday in Hearst.

 

In OUA women’s hockey Nipissing lost both of their road games on the weekend.

After a 4-1 loss to Toronto on Friday, the Lakers were shutout 3-0 by Ryerson on Saturday.

In basketball, both Nipissing teams won their games against Ontario Tech, but lost to Queen’s.

Both Lakers volleyball teams lost to Ryerson and York on the weekend.

 

In OCAA volleyball, both Canadore teams won their games against Seneca and George Brown on the weekend.

In men’s basketball, the Panthers lost to St Clair and Lambton.
