North Bay OPP have now charged 17 drivers with impaired this year.

The latest involved a motorist pulled over Friday night by an officer on Hwy 17 West.

Police say the vehicle was weaving in it’s lane.

A 36 year old resident of West Nipissing has been charged with impaired.

Almaguin OPP report a 57 year old Lount Township resident is facing a charge of impaired by drugs.

This after police and emergency crews responded to a single vehicle collision last Thursday night on Albert Street North in Strong Township.

The accused has a July court appearance.

A traffic complaint Friday night on Ferguson Road in Armour Township has led to impaired charges for an ATV driver.

Almaguin OPP and the SAVE Team responded to the call around 830 pm.

A 34 year old Burk’s Falls man is charged with impaired by alcohol and driving a vehicle with cannabis readily available.

A 25 year old North Bay man is among those charged after suspected controlled substances were located in a vehicle on Highway 11 in Temagami last Thursday afternoon.

The charges against the city man include two counts for the purpose of trafficking and one count of possessing an opioid.
Police seized a prohibited weapon, a substantial quantity of suspected Purple Fentanyl, Methamphetamine tablets and Crystal Meth with a street value of approximately $26,420.
