Two North Bay males are facing charges in connection with break-ins that happened in April.

Police say on Easter Weekend, a set of keys was acquired and they were used to enter an office building on Algonquin Avenue.

Police say a number of offices on three separate occasions were entered and cash, electronic equipment and computer equipment was taken.

One man is charged with ten counts of break and enter, possession of stolen property and possession of break-in instruments while the other faces five break and enter counts.

Some of the stolen property has been recovered.

(drug charges)

Four North Bay residents – between the ages of 22 and 35 — are facing drug charges after a police search of Gorman Street residence last Wednesday.

Various Provincial Police units including the OPP Community Street Crime Unit and North Bay Police were involved in the investigation.

Over $30,000 worth of suspected purple heroin, fentanyl and pills were seized along with $11,000 in Canadian cash.

(stolen trailer)

OPP have charged a Papineau-Cameron Township resident with possession of property obtained by crime and mischief after initially being called to a neighbour dispute last Wednesday.

Police say when officers arrived they found that a utility trailer on the property was stolen from Bracebridge in 2018.

The trailer was towed and when the property owners came home they called police to report it stolen. That’s when charges were laid.
