Two people, a 32 year old female from Noelville and a 35 year old male from St. Clair Township, are facing drug related possession charges after police executed a search warrant in Sturgeon Falls last Wednesday.

Police say the male is also charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime.

Police say they seized a quantity of drugs suspected to be Fentanyl, Crystal Methamphetamine and Cocaine along with drug paraphernalia and over $1100 in Canadian currency.

The street value of the drugs seized is approximately $14,700.

The results of a post mortem held Friday in Sudbury have been revealed.

Last Wednesday, police located a deceased person near Fox Lake Road in Venturi Township.

The person has been identified as 26 year old Constance Richards of Sudbury.

Police say they had been searching for here since August 8th when they were alerted to an abandoned vehicle in a gravel pit off of Fox Lake Road.

Police believe that she had been missing since early August.

There is no concern for public safety.

A 20 year old Thorold man has been charged with a operating a vehicle while impaired.

Police say the charge was laid during a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (RIDE) spot check on Lake Nosbonsing Road in East Ferris early yesterday morning.

Police say this brings to 31 the number of motorists charged with impaired driving within the North Bay OPP detachment area this year.

Police say the vehicle, which belonged to a friend, was impounded for seven days and the drivers licence was subject to a 90-day Administrative Drivers Licence Suspension (ADLS).

An 18 year old Sudbury motorist is facing several charges after an incident on Highway 17 in Verner.

Police say they tried to stop a motorcycle going more than 170 km/h in a 90 on Saturday morning around 10:15 am.

Police say the driver didn’t stop for police and fled.

The motorbike was located in Verner later and the suspect was located and charged with failing to stop forpolice, driving a motor vehicle at an excessive speed, careless driving and operating a motor vehicle without insurance.
