Last night at a North Bay City Council Committee meeting a moment of silence was held for Noah Dugas.

He passed away last week.

Mayor Al McDonald says Noah was only 13 years old but he touched so many people.

“He made an impact on our city and across the North American hockey community. The outpouring of support he received was something he felt and gave him strength. Noah’s battle made him a hero to many and an inspiration to individuals of all ages,” he says.

McDonald says Noah’s organs were donated so that seven other people could be helped and all the procedures were successful.

“He will always be remembered for his gentle way and his smile. He was such a great kid. Noah had an impact on our family and our whole community. God speed Noah number 71,” McDonald says.
