Tis the season for baking!  Gingerbread cookies instantly make us feel warm and cozy and make you want to keep going back for more.  Gingerbread cookies can come in traditional cookie shape or you can cut them into your favourite holiday shapes plus they are super fun to decorate.

 

INGREDIENTS
3/4 c. (11/2 sticks) butter, softened
3/4 c. packed brown sugar
2/3 c. molasses
1 large egg
1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
3 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt
