Attendance at the District of Nipissing Social Services Administration Board meetings is at the centre of a councillor squabble.

In a Facebook post, Deputy Mayor Sheldon Forgette says he’s been removed from the board by the chair, a fellow councillor, for missing three meetings despite having records of actual attendance.

Forgette says the board accepts attendance through teleconferencing.
