Many appointments still open for tomorrow's blood donor clinic

Canadian Blood Services is still looking to fill appointments for Wednesday’s clinic in North Bay.

As of Tuesday morning, there are still 78 appointments available.

Officials say summer is an especially challenging time for blood collections as warm weather and vacations mean donating blood isn’t top-of-mind.

Clinic sessions run tomorrow from 1 pm to 2:30 pm and 4 pm to 7:30 pm at the Elks Lodge.
