The North Bay Battalion lost their third straight game, 8-4 to Owen Sound, on Thursday night at Memorial Gardens.

The Attack led 4-2 after the first and 6-4 after the second.

Battalion Assistant Coach Adam Dennis says the coaching staff didn’t like the team’s defensive effort.

“From the goalie out, I didn’t think that we had a great game tonight. We had a good first three or four minutes but we took that penalty and they seemed to get all the momentum after that,” he says.

Dennis says the team didn’t give the effort that is expected of them.

“I thought we could clean up our own end and have some consistency in our game. We are very reactive to the game right now and we need to play with a more even keel. Bring our work ethic, regardless of what’s happening over the course of the game,” he says.

Justin Brazeau, Mason Primeau, Luke Burghardt and Matthew Struthers were the goal scorers for North Bay.

The Battalion return to the ice tonight to host the Niagara Ice Dogs.

Broadcast time on Country 600 CKAT at 6:55 pm.
