Constable Brad Reaume has been recognized for his contributions to the North Bay and area drug strategy committee. He received a plaque from the board, ahead of their meeting this morning (Friday).

Reaume says the recognition is nice but it’s the work they are doing which is truly important. He says there are many people in the community who are victims of substance abuse that don’t get recognized.

Reaume says there is a lot of work that needs to be done both in our community and globally. He says the goal is early intervention.
