OPP update investigation and impaired driving charge in separate incident

North Bay OPP have provided an update on charges laid following an incident on July 10th.

Originally, a 49 year old Nipissing First Nation man was charged with sexual assault.

A week later he was also charged with assault.

Now the OPP has released the man’s name.

It is Stefan Naylor.

Police believe there are potentially more victims.

A 23 year old West Nipissing man has been charged with operation of a motor vehicle while impaired.

OPP say the charge was laid after investigating a a motor vehicle collision on Highway 63 near Thorne Wednesday night.

Police say a vehicle went into a ditch.

The driver was not injured.

North Bay OPP say they’ve charged 34 motorists with impaired driving this year.
