North Bay to host Legion delegates from across Ontario in 2021

Over 650 delegates from 400 Royal Canadian Legion branches across Ontario will be coming to North Bay in the spring of 2021.

The city has been selected as the site of the Ontario Provincial Command’s 52nd Biennial Convention.

It will take place May 15-18, 2021 at Canadore College’s Aviation Campus.

Activities include a flag raising at City Hall and parade to the cenotaph on First Avenue.

“We are very pleased to be hosting this convention and we look forward to welcoming all of the participants to North Bay,” said Sherry Culling, Local Arrangements Chair. “It’s a great opportunity to showcase our beautiful city.”

North Bay beat out bids from other communities like London and Cornwall to host the convention.
