(UPDATE) More details on police investigation in Main and John St area

A few more details from this morning’s police investigation in the Main and John Street area.

City police say they remain on the scene involved in a criminal investigation, and they expect to be there for several hours.

They tweeted that three people were safely taken into custody.

Police also say there is no safety concern to the public.

For about an hour this morning Main Street was blocked off from Regina to John Street, with John Street blocked from Main to McIntyre.

Traffic was moving again just after 7 am.
