North Bay Police have charged two people in connection with two separate weekend robberies.

One was last Friday on Trout Lake Road at a convenience store and the other on Saturday at a gas bar on Seymour Street.

A 19 year old city male has been charged with armed robbery, using a firearm while committing an indictable offence, uttering death threats and possessing property obtained by crime.

The youth has been charged with two counts each of robbery with a firearm, disguise with intent and using an imitation firearm in addition to uttering death threats and possession of property obtained by crime counts.

Police say the youth has been charged in connection with both robberies while the 19 year old is wanted in connection with the Seymour incident.

Police also say someone stole a Crossman air pellet handgun and a balaclava from a Trout Lake Road residence last Thursday and the air pellet handgun was discovered after arrest in the Seymour robbery.

City Police have charged two people- a 40 year old male and a 35 year old following after a search warrant was executed at a Main Street residence last Thursday.

The charges include possession of a prohibited weapon, unsafe storage of a firearm, unauthorized possession of a firearm and possession of property obtained by crime.

Police say they recovered stolen property including a mountain bike and a cross bow with arrows that had been reported stolen in early November.

Police also seized 3 non-restricted firearms with ammunition.
