Leon’s North Bay is looking to honour local front line heroes.
There’s up to $10,000 in prizes up for grabs in the #LeonsTrueHeroes Giveaway.
Local officials say it’s a national promotion and they’re hoping the community takes part to nominate local heroes so someone from our area has a chance to win and be recognized.

Nominations have to be in by May 11th.
Vice President and General Manager of Leon’s in North Bay Julie Jenkins says all kinds of heroes are eligible.

“It could be a police officer, a health care worker or a bus driver. Anybody who is going above and beyond helping the community through this time,” Jenkins says.
She says she’s seen in the community the difference our heroes are making.

“We are part of our community and we love our community. And we hope that somebody can win this prize and attain national recognition by helping out,” she says.

Prizes include a $5,000 Leon’s Gift Card, three more $1,000 gift cards, and other prizes as well.
People can nominate their #LeonsTrueHeroes on social media.
