The city says they’ve set up the Transit Terminal on Oak Street as a cooling centre during heat events like we’re having currently.

It will be open 9-4 daily and COVID-19 protocols will be in place so there’s an emphasis on physical distancing practices and limits on how many people can be in the cooling centre at one time.

The general public is encouraged to use non-medical masks or face coverings.
