The Capitol Centre is gearing up for a big weekend.

Their re-branded Wine Gala, now known as Hops and Vines, takes place Saturday with a roaring 20’s theme.

General Manager Dee Adrian says they changed the name because they have so many craft brewers on board.

She says on top of the craft beer and wine there’s plenty of food samples too, “We have caterers, restaurants and grocery stores.  This is one of those times when everybody gets involved because it’s the largest fundraiser in this community for the arts.”

A host of games are lined up along with entertainment, including Jarvis Church & Soul Station, Cliff Gervais and Twilight.

There’s also a silent auction, iPad under glass with keys for sale and a Beaver Creek Guitar signed by all the artists appearing at this venue since last year’s Gala along with 2 VIP tickets to London’s Rock the Park Festival.

“Prohibition” pricing is in effect with four tickets for $360.
