Taylor Swift’s latest album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” broke records as the most-streamed album on its first day across Spotify, Amazon Music, and Apple Music. The pop star’s 11th studio album amassed a remarkable 300 million streams in a single day on Spotify alone, setting a new record for the biggest pop album of all time by first-day streams. Amazon Music also reported that the album became its most-streamed worldwide in its first week. With over 26.1 billion plays globally in 2023, Swift also surpassed all other artists as Spotify’s most-played artist.
