In the OHL, the North Bay Battalion scored a 4-3 shootout win over the Belleville Bulls on Sunday.

The Troops came back from a 2-nothing deficit after the first period with a couple of goals in the second from Alex Henriksson and Matt Santos.

Then in the third, after the Bulls took a 3-2 lead, Nick Moutrey evened the score again.

Overtime solved nothing and Mike Amadio had the only goal of the shootout to give the Battalion the win.

The victory was also coach Stan Butler‘s 610th OHL win, one more than Belleville’s George Burnett and the most by an active coach.

Sunday’s game marked the final regular season game for the Battalion in Belleville after the Bulls were sold and will be moving to Hamilton next season.

Jake Kment made 32 saves in the win for North Bay, who is back in action Thursday at home to the Ottawa 67’s.
