The 2015 Smiles For Life campaign is underway!

The Gathering Place is benefiting from the 17th annual Smiles For Life campaign.

100% of the proceeds from teeth whitening procedures done at Callander Bay Dental, from now until June 30th, are being contributed directly to the Gathering Place.

North Bay’s Community Soup Kitchen served over 27,650 warm lunches to those in need in 2014, marking an increase in need from previous years.  

They also launched a breakfast program in October 2014 and have served over 1,500 breakfasts in the past 5 months.  

The Gathering Place also has a community garden where they grow produce for their meal programs and provides recreational space for the community.

They’ve also partnered with the Health Unit to launch a Community Kitchen Program, where participants learn how to cook affordable and nutritious meals for their families.

Since The Gathering Place‘s inception in September 2003, they’ve served over 275,000 meals to those in need.
