The success of Team 1305 at last week’s robotics competition at Nipissing University has caught the attention of MPP Vic Fedeli.

On Wednesday, at Queens Park, he told his fellow MPP’s about the local teams success against 26 competitors at the 4th edition of the FIRST robotics competition.

He says their outstanding performance has awarded the team and their robot CLARK a spot at a provincial event this coming weekend.

Fedeli says teams have six weeks to build the robots and they compete in high intensity action.

He says the competition tests a teams intellect, creativity and strategy.
