North Bay’s big Summer Party Summer In The Park is about to get going.

Festival committee member Charles Elliott says there’s a full 2 nights of concerts ahead starting tonight.

He says the headliners this evening are MAGIC! and Marianas Trench and tomorrow Headstones and Amanda Marshall.

Also performing this evening are Groove and Michelle Treacy and opening up tomorrow are The Twentiest and Darenots.

Wristbands for the concerts are $50 and available at the gate.

You can also purchase a VIP spot for $100.

Elliot says there are plenty of events every day from today through Sunday.

Events today include an exhibit on Hockey at the Discovery North Bay Museum, Helicopter Rides, the The World’s Finest Shows Midway, the Million Dollar Hole in 1, the Rage in a Cage downtown and Piano in the Park.

Some of the weekend events include the Octanauts and a troupe putting on plays in a tent called Motus O Dance Theatre.

He says there’s the North Bay Drum and Dance Festival too.
