It's getting down to the nitty gritty in local baseball

Men’s Senior Baseball League playoff action continued Monday night in North Bay.

Carte Blanche Rotarians doubled up Don’s Pub and Grill 4-2 and The Moose Cookhouse edged Assante 2-1.

Each team is guaranteed three games in the playoff format but two losses could eliminate teams and four have one loss each.

The next action is Wednesday with Don’s Pub and Grill playing The Miner’s Son and Assante meets North Bay Midget Stingers.
