CT 33 Thunderbirds were well represented at the 2nd Northeastern Ontario meet of the season on the weekend in North Bay.

14 year old Trael Daly Stevens won 5 races and finished 2nd in another for the Thunderbirds.

His club mate 16 year old Evan Kilroy won 5 races as well and placed 3rd in another.

Also winning 5 times was 16 year old Jesse Hammond.

15 year old Cole Paralovos won 4 races, picked up a 2nd and a third as well.

On the female side, 13 year old Jenna Wall had 5 first place finishes, 13 year old Jaiden Paralovos picked up 4 first’s and a 2nd and 11 year old Peyton Paralvos won 4 races and was 2nd twice.

12 other club members won races and 10 finished in the top 3.

First place finishes were also captured in the team relay events for both the men’s and women’s teams.

The men dominated the field with four first place finishes breaking the club record in the 200 metre Medley Relay event, while the women’s teams competed in nine relay events, placing first in six out of the ten and second in three.

The mixed relay teams received three first and two second place finishes.
