The North Bay Battalion haven’t won six straight games since the 2013-14 season their first in North Bay.

But, the Troops can do it again tonight with a win against Sudbury.

The Battalion have won five straight, including two come-from-behind victories.

Coach Stan Butler says the players believe in themselves and are finding ways to win.

“To have a never say die attitude in a lot of the games. It would have been easy not to stick with the games and just give up but to their credit they’ve worked hard, they’ve stayed at it and as a result they’ve been successful,” he says.

The Troops are sixth in the Eastern Conference standings and despite Sudbury being 10th, Battalion coach Stan Butler wants to see a consistent effort from his team regardless of who they’re playing.

“Our consistency at times hasn’t been there. I think that’s something we have to work on. This is a big home and away with Sudbury and I’m sure there’s nothing they would like to do better than beat us,” he says.

The two teams meet up again Saturday in Sudbury.

The Wolves and Battalion have played each other three times this year with North Bay winning all three match-ups by 6-5 scores.

Forward Daniel Walker is expected back in the Battalion lineup tonight.
