A vehicle last month drove through a RIDE stop.

Almaguin Highlands OPP say a spike belt was used and the driver exited the vehicle near Katrine and ran into the bush.

The following morning a 54 year old North Bay man was located on foot and charged with dangerous operation of a vehicle, flight while pursued by peace officer, careless driving and speeding.
A busy long weekend for the Almaguin Highlands Detachment of the OPP.

116 Provincial offenses act charges were laid for speeding, failing to wear a seat belt and driving while suspended.

As well, several tickets were issued on the water.
