Discovery North Bay is offering a glimpse on local farming.
A new exhibit is up and running that showcases 12 photos of historic local farms along with maps and a slideshow of supplementary local farming images.
Director/Curator Naomi Rupke says with so many people interested in sustainable local farming, the exhibit is a great way to display the history of farming in the region.

“We had our volunteers talk with local farmers, look at their pictures and then select some photos to display at the museum.”
Along with the photos there are maps and a slideshow of supplementary local farming images.
Rupke says they also held an opening earlier this month.

“A lot of local retired farmers attended and there were some that were not featured that came out to that event and let us know about their farms as well.”
The exhibit is running all summer long.
