The Nipissing Lakers have signed a basketball recruit for the men’s team.

His name is Aleks Novicic.

The 6′ 8″ 17 year old is from Kitchener and coach Chris Cheng says he will bring size, skill and experience to the team.

Novicic says he has a strong IQ, can play forward or centre and can hit shots from behind the arc.
