North Bay’s Mathew Hardwick has signed with Powassan Voodoos.

The AAA Trappers forward tells BayToday he’s looking to contribute to the Voodoos and help them win another championship.

“I look to have a fun season, a great season, working with a new coach, new teammates, it’s going to be a big change and I’m really excited for it, and hopefully bring back another NOJHL title to the Voodoos,” he says.

Hardwick scored 24 goals with the Trappers last season and is excited to get going with his new team.

“I am from North Bay and I have played here basically my entire life and it is a great team,” he says. “I have watched them play the last two or three years and it is just a team I really wanted to play with.”

The 2001 birth year, 6’2″ forward is also a 12th round pick of the North Bay Battalion and will take part in the Troops’ camp in September.
