More people in Nipissing voted early in the provincial election

Preliminary numbers are in for advanced voting in Nipissing and more people cast an early ballot this time around, compared to four years ago.

Elections Ontario says 6,386 people in Nipissing voted through June 4th.

There were 12 advance poll locations and special ballot voting continues until 6 o’clock tomorrow night (Wednesday) at the Returning Office.

In the 2014 provincial election 5,843 people in Nipissing voted in the seven advanced polls and through special ballot.

Election Day is Thursday, with the polls open from 9 am to 9 pm.
